Shopfi's fee is deducted at settlement. Network/processor fees (Stripe, Visa, Mastercard) are charged separately by each provider — just like standard card processing today.
Crypto is different: On x402 and MPP, protocol fees are near-zero — Shopfi's 1% is typically your only cost.
ACP note: OpenAI charges merchants a separate 4% marketplace fee on Instant Checkout purchases, in addition to Stripe processing and Shopfi's 1%.
